Copyright Policy
Reading note. This Policy explains how to report content on Tirvea that you believe infringes your copyright or other intellectual-property rights, how WiseWave Limited responds, and how an affected user can challenge a removal. What content is prohibited is in the Community Guidelines (/legal/community-guidelines) and Acceptable Use Policy (/legal/acceptable-use); enforcement outcomes are in the Account Suspension Policy (/legal/account-suspension).
1. Scope and Purpose
Purpose. To set out how to report infringing content on Tirvea and how WiseWave Limited handles it. Tirvea hosts user-submitted content (profile photos and profile text). WiseWave Limited does not claim ownership of that content; users are responsible for what they submit (Terms of Service, /legal/terms).
2. Respect for Rights
Purpose. To state your obligations. You may only submit content that you own or are otherwise entitled to submit and that does not infringe any third party's rights. Submitting infringing content breaches the Terms of Service and the Acceptable Use Policy (/legal/acceptable-use) and may lead to content removal and account action under the Account Suspension Policy (/legal/account-suspension).
3. How to Report Infringement
Purpose. To explain the notice ("takedown") process. Send a notice to info@tirvea.com, or use the in-app reporting tools where available. To let us act, a notice should include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work or right you claim is infringed.
- Identification of the specific content on Tirvea (enough for us to locate it - for example, the profile and the specific photo or text).
- Your contact details (name, email, and postal address where required).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
- Your electronic or physical signature.
[Legal review required before publication - confirm the exact statutory wording, sworn statements, and any designated-agent details required in each jurisdiction (for example, US DMCA §512(c)(3)).]
4. What We Do With a Valid Notice
Purpose. To explain our response. On receiving a notice that appears valid, WiseWave Limited reviews it and, where appropriate, removes or disables access to the identified content and notifies the affected user. We may request further information where a notice is incomplete. Removal decisions are content-moderation actions and follow the same evidence-and-audit discipline as other Trust & Safety actions (Trust & Safety Policy, /legal/trust-safety; AI Moderation Policy, /legal/ai-moderation).
5. Counter-notice
Purpose. To explain how to challenge a removal. If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to info@tirvea.com including: the identified content and its former location, your contact details, and a statement (under penalty of perjury where applicable) that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification. Where the law provides a restoration procedure, WiseWave Limited follows it. Removals may also be challenged through the Appeals Policy (/legal/appeals). [Legal review required before publication - confirm the counter-notice mechanics and any restoration timelines.]
6. Repeat Infringers
Purpose. To explain repeat-infringement action. WiseWave Limited maintains a policy of, in appropriate circumstances, suspending or terminating the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe intellectual-property rights. Account actions are applied and communicated under the Account Suspension Policy (/legal/account-suspension) and may be appealed under the Appeals Policy (/legal/appeals).
7. Trademarks and Other IP
Purpose. To cover other intellectual property. This Policy applies to copyright and, with necessary changes, to trademark and other intellectual-property complaints. Report them the same way (§3). [Legal review required before publication - confirm any trademark-specific process.]
8. Misuse of This Process
Purpose. To deter false reports. Knowingly submitting a false notice or counter-notice may carry legal liability and is itself a breach of the Acceptable Use Policy. WiseWave Limited may decline to act on, and may take action in response to, abusive or bad-faith reports.
9. Contact
Purpose. To give the contact route. Intellectual-property notices and counter-notices: info@tirvea.com. Controller/operator: WiseWave Limited, 39 Cooley Park, Dundalk, Co. Louth, A91 AP2V, Ireland. [Legal review required before publication - confirm any jurisdiction-specific designated agent.]
